Stretched Out is a 2018 installation piece that focuses on body, image and feminism. Using wooden frames, spandex fabric is stretched out and stapled to the back of the frames, acting as a metaphor for plastic surgery, as well as the media’s projection of an ideal body image. Two projectors project four slow motion videos across all four panels of the model’s nude body, using her hands to emphasize her skin and body as a stretchy and doughy material in itself, that juxtapose the material it is being projected on.

The installation was originally displayed at York University, Toronto, in November of 2018.
